Care for Anorectal Health

There are diverse disorders that affect the rectum and anus, such as piles, anal fissures, anal fistulae, perianal abscesses, and rectal prolapse. Such a condition is usually accompanied by a lot of pain and discomfort that, in turn, tends to ruin one’s everyday life. In order to treat anorectal problems, Ayurveda recommends different methods based on dosha balance (vata-pitta-kapha), better digestion, and general well-being. Ayurveda treats anorectal problems by addressing the root causes, which often include poor digestion, imbalanced doshas, and lifestyle factors. The treatment involves a combination of dietary modifications, herbal remedies, lifestyle changes, and specific Ayurvedic procedures.
